The Incredibles, X-Men, Tick, Gargoyles, Captain Planet, Captain Underpants, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are all inspiring! We used them to reference the important requirements to the lives of superheroes.
Today, LEAPers finished brainstorming (generating ideas with no wrong answers) and used a web or outline to organize our stories. Some highly unusual but entertaining ideas are beginning to emerge.
Next week we will plaster our faces. Be prepared to get a little messy!

Super Sized Introductions
Welcome to an exciting semester where your LEAPer will transform into an original, crime-fighting, adventurous and courageous super being!
LEAPers learned the basic expectations of class along with a project overview. My main goal is to help your LEAPer become an independent learner who realizes not only their own power for learning, but the power they have to make a difference.
In order to empower these young minds, they need to know who they are. LEAPers completed various quizzes from Psychology for Kids by Jonni Kincher. Some took the quizzes home to share with their families.
